When an existing arrangement needs review
A child's needs, school schedule or a parent's circumstances may change after an order is entered. Andrew reviews the current order, what has changed and the particular relief you want to request. A disagreement alone does not establish that a court will change an order.
Custody and parenting time are different questions
Changing the allocation of parental rights is not the same as adjusting a parenting-time schedule or a shared-parenting plan. The applicable requirements depend on the existing order and the requested change. Andrew can discuss those distinctions and the evidence your situation may require. No result or particular schedule is guaranteed.
Prepare for your consultation
-
Have your current decree, parenting plan and later orders ready.
-
Prepare a short timeline of the changes and your current parenting schedule.
-
Identify the court county, pending motions and hearing dates.
-
List the specific changes you would like to discuss.
Keep the initial website inquiry brief. Please do not submit sensitive documents through the form.
Changing an order or enforcing it?
If the concern is that someone is not following an existing order, enforcement may need separate review. Explain both the order's wording and what occurred so Andrew can discuss the available approach. Do not assume that filing a request changes the existing order or pauses a deadline.
Direct attorney contact and clear fees
The initial Zoom consultation is at no charge and by appointment. Andrew replies by email within two business days to arrange a time. The usual initial retainer is $2,500 and varies by case; additional fees and expenses may apply. Scope and fees are explained before you decide whether to retain the firm.
